About Heitmann Physical Therapy and Wellness

Hello, allow me to introduce myself.
I am Tyrone, Owner of Heitmann PT & Wellness

I have been practicing Physical Therapy and helping people regain function for more than 25 years. I began this healing career with a degree in Sports Medicine from Denver Technical College. I then went on to gain more knowledge and earned my Master’s in Physical Therapy from Howard University in 1998. I began a journey to develop the skills I felt were important to help people heal.

I became a Certified Manual Therapist from the University of St Augustine in 2007. In 2016, I became a  Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist through the Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments.

I felt there was more I could be doing to advance the healing of patients and helping the body transform out of injury and compensation. I began training in Integrative Manual Therapy (IMT) in 2006.

Combining what I would call traditional PT and Integrative medicine has been very effective and rewarding for my patients. I have always believed in a hands-on personal approach to patient care and the healing power of human touch.  I have created an efficient and effective healing experience that gives you the time you deserve, the care you deserve and the results you need.

I do not work for your insurance company, I do not work for your doctor and you are not bound by your diagnosis or MRI results. You and your full function is the number one priority.

The Heitmann Physical Therapy and Wellness Difference

01

I practice Integrative Manual Therapy (IMT)

IMT is gentle, manual (hands-on) therapy that helps the body use its own power to heal as a whole. IMT practitioners are trained to address the root of physical dysfunction and facilitate healing.

02

Treating you completely

No system works alone, your body has multiple systems being affected by injury and dysfunction. By treating you completely we can achieve the full healing you deserve. I will remove physical restrictions and promote functionality and help your ability to heal.

03

Personalized one on-one-care

I want to provide a relaxed healing atmosphere with less of a “clinical” feeling and I want patients to feel calm, listened to and respected.  I use private treatment rooms with natural sunlight to promote healing.  Don't get me wrong there are kettlebells, bosu, balance pads and other equipment as well.
